The form below is a script I created for a very efficient Google search of online indexes containing MP3 files. Simply type the name of an artist, album, or song in the field below and press Enter.

I created a permanent shortcut to this post in the form of a music note that will always be at the very bottom of my blog. Once this post drops off the front page, just click on the note and search away.

Search tip: The few sites with MP3 in the name before .com, .net, etc are generally the index of a paid site and will be of little or no use. For instance, http://e-mp3s.eu/mp3/C/ is one I've seen a few times.

I've also found Pandora Internet Radio to be a great resource to find bands similar to ones you like. The Hype Machine also finds MP3s on blogs.
